Separate registration for golf, fly fishing and kayaking is available for non-sponsoring attendees.

GPhA Annual Golf Tournament

Join us Friday afternoon for the GPhA Annual Golf Tournament at the beautiful Grande Lakes Greg Norman Signature Golf Course. Set within the pristine Headwaters of the Florida Everglades and surrounded by magnificent pines, palmettos, and live oaks, this distinguished Orlando golf resort offers a luxury experience unlike any other in the area. This annual event draws top industry executives for a wonderful day of golf. Box lunch is included.

Fly Fishing

Running concurrently with our golf tournament on Friday afternoon, the fly fishing excursions take place on the 40-acre Shingle Pond (parallel to Shingle Creek), which sits on the most remote section of Grande Lakes. Fly fishing enthusiasts have the chance to reel in trophy Largemouth Bass. Beginner and experienced fly fishers are welcome.

Kayaking Eco-Tour

Running concurrently with our golf tournament on Friday afternoon, the kayaking eco-tour is a guided kayak tour of Shingle Creek, the Headwaters to the Florida Everglades. You will learn about the history of Shingle Creek and observe the native species such as alligators, bald eagles, osprey and barred owls in their natural habitat.

Spouse/ Guest Event

The 2012 Annual Meeting Spouse/Guest Pass includes entry to all social events and meal functions as well as a special Thursday morning spouse/guest event. This year’s Spouse/Guest activity is a guided tour of the Orange Country Regional History Center. The History Center will inspire you to take a dynamic, interactive journey through Central Florida’s rich heritage. This state-of-the-art venue, located in the “Heart of the Community,” brings history to life through presentations, hands-on exhibits, motion sensitive figures and costumed docents who tell the story that spans from 12,000 years ago through tomorrow. Following the cultural tour, you will dine at Harrison Graham’s Wine Cellar & Gourmet Grille for a private luncheon.
