GPhA Presenting Sponsor of Celebrity Bowling Tournament to Help DC's Sickest Children

WASHINGTON, DC – Leading personalities from the worlds of media, including Jake Tapper (CNN) and Tommy McFly (94.7 Fresh FM); government, including Sen. Amy Klobuchar (R-MN), Rep. Grace Napolitano (D-CA), Rep. Mia Love (R-UT) and Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-IL); sports, including boxing champion DeMarcus Deon "Chop Chop" Corley and former Redskins Gary Clark and Dexter Manley; and entertainment, including singer L’il Mo and SiriusXM Kids Place Live host Kenny Curtis will all be rolling strikes, spares and the occasional gutter ball to raise money to help DC’s sickest kids.
The Generic Pharmaceutical Association (GPhA) is the presenting sponsor of this event which supports Hope for Henry, a Washington, DC area nonprofit that provides exceptional quality-of-life-saving care for children fighting cancer and other serious illnesses at Children’s National, MedStar Georgetown University Hospital and Sinai Hospital of Baltimore. Over the past 14 years, Hope for Henry has reinvented how hospitals care for seriously ill children and their families through innovative programs that entertain, reduce stress and empower children to be active participants in their own care.

Who: Jake Tapper of CNN is the evening’s host, and Tommy McFly of 94.7 Fresh FM is the event emcee. Sponsors and their guests will bowl with national and local celebrities. Pediatric patients from MedStar Georgetown and Children’s hospitals will also be on hand. The Generic Pharmaceutical Association is presenting sponsor and its CEO, Chip Davis, will speak.
